An excellent example of property redevelopment
The Myers Y. Cooper Company, in partnership with NAI Bergman, acquired and re-developed the Florence Shops center on Mall Rd. in Florence Kentucky. The property was under performing, with only 60% occupancy in a dynamic retail trade area experiencing higher rents and occupancy. The situation indicated opportunity to Cooper and Bergman. One year later, the buildings have a new facade, parking lot and other building updates. The property is now 100% leased with the addition of Point Blank Range, Expedia Travel and other retail services familiar to the Florence market.
